A trip to Xi’an fulfilled my six-year longing for zenggao. Wandering the morning market, I tasted distinctive local snacks. The soft glutinous zenggao paired perfectly with cappuccino, weaving sweet jujube aroma and creamy milk together. Dressed in Hanfu, I strolled the ancient city, where timeless history meets vivid daily life. Xi’an’s unique romance and vitality deeply touched my heart, leaving me eager to return.
