This year's theme is "Chinese: A Gift Across Time and Space," aiming to jointly celebrate the beauty of writing, the charm of reading, and the richness of culture.

今年活动的主题是“中文：穿越时空的礼物”，旨在共同书写文字之美，阅读文章之妙，赏析文化之博。

On this day, a grand sacrificial ceremony was held in Baishui County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, to commemorate the contribution of Cangjie, the "ancestor of Chinese characters," in creating Chinese characters.

当天，在陕西省渭南市白水县举行了一场隆重的祭祀活动，以纪念“中华文字始祖”仓颉造字的贡献。

Chinese, it is not just a language, but also a window into the brilliance of five thousand years of Chinese civilization.

中文，这不仅是一种语言，更是一扇窗，透视着五千年华夏文明的辉煌。

                       Yang Lei, Director of the Confucius Institute at Xi'an International Studies University said，2025 marks my eighth year working at the Confucius Institute.The Confucius Institute at Xi'an International Studies University in Kazakhstan's Eurasian University was established in 2007, and since then, it has trained more than 14,000 Kazakh citizens in learning Chinese.In 2024, we offered 41 classes, teaching over 700 Kazakh citizens Chinese, and organized more than 50 events showcasing Chinese culture.In 2025, I expect to enroll over 1,000 students, assist and ensure the success of the upcoming China-Central Asia Five-Nation Summit in Astana, and vigorously promote cooperation between universities in Shaanxi, vocational technical colleges, and Kazakh enterprises and institutions. 2025 is also the China Tourism Year in Kazakhstan, so the Confucius Institute will continue to work hard, organize events, and attract more Kazakh citizens to travel to Xi'an, Shaanxi, and China, showcasing the beauty of Shaanxi, the charm of China, and promoting China-Kazakhstan cooperation and mutual understanding, all in efforts to build a community with a shared future for mankind.

西安外国语大学孔子学院院长杨雷说，“2025年是我在孔子学院工作的第8个年头了。西安外国语大学哈萨克斯坦欧亚大学孔子学院成立于2007年，至今已经培养了超过14000名哈萨克斯坦公民学习汉语。2024年，我们开设了41个班级，教授了700多名哈萨克斯坦公民学习汉语，组织了50多场中华文化的展示活动。2025年，我期待招生超过1000人，做好即将在阿斯塔纳召开的中国、中亚五国峰会的协助和保障工作，并大力推动陕西高校、职业技术院校和哈国企业院校的合作。2025年还是哈萨克斯坦的中国旅游年，所以孔子学院将继续发力，组织活动，吸引更多的哈国人到西安、到陕西、到中国来旅游，展示大美陕西、美丽中国，推动中哈合作，民心相通，为构建人类命运共同体而努力。”
