Spring is in full bloom, and the Fengyan Terraces in Hanyin County, Shaanxi Province, located in the heart of the Qinling-Daba Mountains (Qinba) in China, are a breathtaking sight. Endless fields of rapeseed flowers bloom in golden splendor, their fragrance carried by the breeze, marking the most enchanting season of the year.
春色正浓，位于中国秦巴山区腹地陕西省汉阴县的凤堰梯田错落有致，万亩油菜花竞相绽放，金色花海花香四溢，迎来了一年中最美的时候。
Spanning 51,200 mu, the Fengyan Terraces boast a history of over 2,000 years. The irrigation system here, which consists of "fields, canals, ponds and streams", takes advantage of the mountainous terrain and the power of nature to achieve gravity irrigation. It fully embodies the concept of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature, and enjoys the reputation of a "living fossil" of Chinese farming culture.
凤堰梯田总灌溉面积5.12万亩，历史可以追溯到2000多年前。这里的“田、渠、塘、溪”灌溉系统，顺山地之势，借自然之力，实现自流灌溉。它充分体现了人与自然和谐共生的理念，有着中国农耕文化“活化石”的美誉。
In September 2024, the Fengyan Terraces were inscribed on the World Heritage Irrigation Structures list, drawing greater attention to this ancient terraced landscape—where the rugged beauty of the Qinba Mountains, time-honored farming wisdom, and rich cultural traditions converge.
2024年9月，凤堰梯田入选世界灌溉工程遗产名录，这处集秦巴山区秀丽自然风光、古老农耕智慧、传统民俗风情于一体的古梯田群落受到更多人关注。
Since its establishment in 2014, the World Heritage Irrigation Structures list has recognized 177 sites worldwide, with 38 of in China. These sites represent nearly every type of irrigation system, many still in use today. They embody centuries of agricultural civilization and water management wisdom, nurturing fertile lands and sustaining livelihoods.
自2014年设立的世界灌溉工程遗产名录目前共有177项，其中中国有38项，几乎涵盖了灌溉工程的所有类型，许多至今仍在发挥功能。它们承载着千百年的农耕文明与治水智慧，浇灌良田，惠泽民生。
Relying on the year-round beauty of the Fengyan Terraces, the local area has developed agritourism, receiving over 600,000 visitors annually and injecting vitality into the ancient irrigation area.
依托凤堰梯田四季美景，当地发展农旅融合，年接待超60万游客，为古灌区注入生机。
