3月至5月，需要给母猴，提供能量，以备它们生产小崽，哺育幼崽。10月至12月，它们需要囤积脂肪，度过秦岭北麓严寒的冬季。
To prevent the monkeys' over-reliance on human feeding, the annual specific feeding accounts for less than a quarter of the total amount of the monkey's food consumption. Sichuan golden snub-nosed monkey species will bound to be better protected and evolving if their reproduction and survival are less interfered.
为避免川金丝猴对人类投喂产生过度依赖，其全年专项投喂量始终控制在种群食物消耗总量的四分之一以内。只要减少对繁殖与生存的人为干扰，川金丝猴种群将得到更好保护，并实现良性发展。

陕西周至国家级自然保护区是我国川金丝猴分布的最北限，也是分布最集中的地区之一。

At present, Chuan golden snub-nosed monkeys are mainly distributed in Zhouzhi County、Taibai County、 Ningshan County、Foping County、Yangxian County and other places in Shaanxi Province, with a number of more than 5,500 individuals.
