On June 10, 2025, the China·Xi'an Kazakhstan Terminal was put into use, becoming the overseas "first stop" of China's westward opening-up channel.

On February 28, 2024, the Kazakhstan Xi'an Terminal was put into operation, with a service scope covering Central Asia, Southeast Asia and countries along the trans-sea routes.

As one of the important achievements of the first China-Central Asia Summit, the successive commissioning of the two terminals has promoted a closer connection between Almaty and Xi'an, realizing the transportation upgrade from "point-to-point" to "hub-to -hub". It has also injected new energy and created new opportunities for promoting the practical cooperation between the two sides in various fields to a higher level and deeper level.
作为首届中国—中亚峰会的重要成果之一，两个码头的先后投用，推动阿拉木图和西安更加紧密连接，实现从“点对点”向“枢纽对枢纽”的运输升级，也为推动双方各领域务实合作向更高水平、更深层次迈进注入了新动能、创造了新机遇。
After one year of efficient operation, the Kazakhstan Xi'an Terminal has not only effectively enhanced the gathering and distribution capacity of goods between China and Kazakhstan, but also provided high-quality services for import, export and transit goods, and offered more cooperation opportunities for enterprises to carry out international trade. By May 2025, the terminal had handled a total of over 180000 tons of goods.
经过一年的高效运转，哈萨克斯坦西安码头不仅有力提升了中哈两国货物的集结、分拨能力，也为进出口、过境货物提供了优质服务，为企业开展国际贸易提供更多合作机会。截至2025年5月，该码头已累计转运货物超18万吨。
The loaded trains are a witness to the prosperous trade along the "Belt and Road". Taking the construction of a "new fulcrum" for international logistics transportation as an opportunity, the China-Europe freight trains continue to write a new Silk Road legend.
