The Site of the Circular Altarin Xi’an is China’s earliest existing Temple of Heaven, where ancient people held ceremonies for worshiping the heavens here. Many influential figures from the Sui and Tang dynasties walked up here. The painting buniantu depicts the scene where the Tibetan envoy seeks to marry Princess Wencheng, offering a glimpse into Emperor Taizong's everyday attire. Tang clothing was distinctive for its openness and diversity. In the tomb of Princess Jinxiang, a woman wearing men's attire and holding a konghou shows the active lifestyle and martial spirit of Tang women, andreflects the cultural exchanges between the East and the Western Regions. The Tricolor Glazed Terracotta Prancing Horse Rider figurine showcased in the Xi'an Museum have unique foreign features, with cobalt blue from Persia reflecting cultural exchange. The Tang Dynasty, like a youthful lad, was full of significant influx of foreign cultural elements, representing a flourishing era with attires from myriad nations.
